A guide to features on the TIP-EX homepage.
For first-time users, the cursor-over is a very important tool when navigating the TIP-EX website.
At the top of the homepage, the cursor-over will guide you to various parts and features of the website, ranging from Odds Comparison to Market Moves and Language selection.
A good starting point for all users is to click on 'settings' to choose the odds format on display. There, you can choose between five odds formats (decimal, euro, moneyline, fractional and points) as well as the odds comparison (oc) settings. All these are designed to make the site as customisable as possible, and providing cookies are enabled, will be the default settings for future sessions.
Similarly, you can choose between a number of default languages on the website, and you can do so via 'Languages' at the top of the homepage.
Home
Here you can choose between:
- Upcoming matches
- Yesterday's matches
- matches for the next seven days, grouped day-by-day.
For each of the options a match list will be generated, showing various scheduled times/results, team fixtures, average odds, moves and other market related info.
Live score and Final results display
If a match is in-play or has finished, a cursor-over of the time details of the match will display the times and names of scorers.
Team Fixtures
Click on the team names to be forwarded to the full odds comparison for that particular match, where a comprehensive list of bookmakers and their odds, and times that they were last updated, will be shown.
Odds and market info columns
Column #1 displays average odds for home, draw and away outcomes respectively (for example, 1.807 - 3.390 - 3.927).
Column #2 displays the average probabilites for the match outcome of home, draw and away, based on the market average odds.
Column #3 displays the number of odds changes made by bookmakers for either Up or Down for each of the outcomes home, draw and away.
Column #4 displays the average asian handicap home/away odds for the particular displayed line.
Column #5 displays the average total goals over/under odds for the displayed total goals line.
Search function
Another way to quickly find odds for a specific team/player, is to simply enter a minimum first 3 letters of the name in the top right-hand corner of the main page, and then click 'go'.
Historical results and odds
To find out all the results and odds coverage of past matches, click on the team's name when inside the odds comparison grid display, and all its results from recent past will appear, alongside all the betting details which are covered when you click on 'oc'. Historical data display beyond 14 days is restricted to TIP-EX Pro customers.
TIP-EX AHC
For the free version which has a three-minute delay on the data, just click on 'Tip-Ex AHC Free' beneath 'Links' on the left-hand side of our homepage.
For the subscription TIP-EX Asian Handicap site which has a 2-3 seconds delay, TIP-EX AHC subscribers will be immediately directed there when they sign into 'ahc' on the TIP-EX homepage.
