Horse Racing. 3.10 Warwick – 2 points win Ironside @ 5/1 with Sportingbet. Anyone that has been following CL Tizzard’s horses over the last few weeks will be well aware that he is THE man in form with an incredible strike rate of 43% for his chasers in December. Ironside looks another possible winner and it is interesting that while Tizzard is in great form, most of the other trainers are certainly not, with perhaps the exception of Robert Alners yard. If Tizazard is hot, the rest are ranging from cold to positively Baltic. Ironside’s last run was a well beaten 5th but that race was won by a very impressive beast by the name of Arnold Layne and over 3 miles 5 furlongs. Ironside ran with credit until three fences from home and today’s trip of just over 3 miles should be ideal, as is the going.
