Moto GP – Donington.

With most of the UK experiencing heavy rain this weekend, the British GP looks to be one to stick with the wet weather experts. In the wet free practice this morning Anthony West was quickest and looks great value at 25/1. He is regarded as a great racer in the rain and despite this being his first race of the season, the rain gives him a great chance of a surprise win. Vermeulen is another regarded as a rain master, but he has been off twice this weekend and at half the odds of West, the value is not so good. Casey Stoner was second fastest in the rain this morning, which was something of a surprise as he has been very critical of the track surface in wet conditions and that suggests his confidence will not be great if the rain does hang around. He is focusing on the World Championship and is hardly likely to push himself to the very limit, but to hold a little back, make sure he finishes and pick some decent points.

1 point e/w Anthony West @ 25/1 with William Hill.
