Verizon
Heritage, Harbour Town, Hilton Head, South
Carolina.
This tournament
began in '69 and has remained at Hilton Head
since then. The course is short at 6972 yards,
but still slightly favours long hitters over
accurate drivers. It is not an easy course, as
can be seen by the winning score last year of
277 from Lonard. Darren Clarke came close to
winning this tournament last year; however, he
played badly over the closing holes. He seems to
be suspect when in contention, as he showed in
the Masters last week. Greens are of Bermuda
grass and quite small.

Tim Clark is in
good form at the moment with chances to win the
Masters last week. He made 22 of 26 cuts last
year, with 16 top25s and 6 top10s, and has
played at Hilton Head the last 3 years. Villegas
is a rookie and has started the season very
well. He came on to the PGA Tour via the
Nationwide Tour where he finished 13th on the
money list. It is likely that his form will drop
back a bit during the rest of the season.

Parnevik has been
playing better than he has for the last few
tears and has played at Hilton Head 4 out of the
last 5 years: 28,- ,38, 0, 47. He made 17 of 24
cuts last year with 4 top 25s.
On average,
players from the Q-school tend to play al ot
worse than Parnevik's standard.

O'Hern is the
best player in this group and the odds are
4/1. He came 19th in the Masters which
should give him a lot of confidence and he
finished 9th at Hilton Head last year.
