The Houston Open.
Redstone GC - Humble, Texas.
Redstone is a fairly new course and is long at 7457
yards. Designed by Rees Jones and David Toms it will
favour long drivers over accurate drivers. Many of
the holes have water hazards including the last
which can produce exciting finishes. Last year Adam
Scott won the tournament despite going into the
water on the 18th, however so did his fellow
countryman Stewart Appleby who won this event in
2006. Players will be trying to hone their games
ready for the first Major of the year at Augusta
next week.

10/11 Stricker v
Ogilvy 6 units
Steve Stricker missed the cut last week which was
unusual, but he is still worth sticking with. Geoff
Ogilvy will be over-rated for a while as he has just
won a tournament bringing the great Tiger Woods
winning streak to an end. Stricker likes the course
having finished 3,9 in the last two years, whereas
Ogilvy has not played at Redstone GC before.

10/11 Pettersson v O'Hern
6 units
Carl Pettersson has been very consistent in his last
four starts 24,23,8,-,23. Last year he had thirteen
top 25s and although he is not a long driver he is
80 places above Nick O'Hern who is one of the
shortest. Pettersson holds a 13-5 head to head
record over O'Hern in the last 12 months.

9/10 Glover v Quinney
6 units
This bet is based more on long term form and the
fact that Jeff Quinney is a short driver. Lucas
Glover has played the course twice, finishing 21st
in 2006 and is 34th in Driving Distance compared to
192nd for Quinney. Quinney has not played the course
before and is 13-8 down in head to heads.

Perez v C.Campbell 6
units
Pat Perez came 12th
last week in New Orleans and had a good 2007
managing six top 10s and eleven top 25s. He is
better suited to the course as he is a longer
driver than Chad Campbell. Campbell missed the cut
last week and had only two top 10s and six top 25s
in 2007.
