Turkish GP – Saturday update.

It looks like Schumacher is likely to dominate the race, great speed and consistency, were as the Michelins appeared to have good performance for 1 lap but quickly dropped off.  There is the chance that a low fuelled Michelin runner could steal pole position from Schumacher and his pole position odds are about right at 4/6.

Two match bets for qualifying that look interesting.

6 points Kubica to out qualify Heidfeld @ 11/8 Betuk.

lost 6 points

The young pole has taken to F1 like the proverbial duck to water. He out qualified Heidfeld with ease on his debut in Hungary and has been faster so far in Turkey (0.87 quicker this morning). Heidfeld, a solid racer, is not regarded as a qualifying specialist.

3 point Barrichello to out qualify De la Rosa @ 2.10 with Unibet.

lost 3 points

The Hondas have been good in recent qualifying sessions and tend to run a little more aggressively fuel wise that McLaren. De la Rosa was slow this morning (Barrichello 0.7 faster) and while he will be quicker this afternoon, Barrichello looks the value bet being 2-0 up on DLR this season.
